As I mentioned at the Leaders’ meeting this morning, we are working with the telephone company and our Cisco phone support vendor to troubleshoot a problem with the 911 caller ID information on our system.
To fully diagnose the root cause, they will need to perform some maintenance on our phone system this coming Thursday between 6 and 7 PM. The maintenance itself should only last about 15 minutes.
Outgoing phone calls should continue to work, although any calls in progress may be disconnected. However, some incoming phone calls may not successfully connect during that 15 minute window.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we escalated this issue because of safety concerns and the telephone company indicated that maintenance should only last about 15 minutes.
