I am always learning something new! A major part of my day is spent on Chromebooks!

Chromebooks! Chromebooks! I also work with technology troubleshooting, student assistance, Media Center support & activities, Illuminate DnA, GAFE questions, MakerSpace, and Liberty-specific projects.

What do you like doing when you’re not working?

I love to read and camp. Reading while camping is the best.

What is your favorite type of music?

I love my 80s hair bands. Really, I like anything except classy music like jazz/blues/classical/opera. The classiest I get is 2Cellos but I love them because they play 80s hair band music.

What app or program could you not do without?

Google Sheets

If you could be any superhero, who would you be?

I’m a mom of four. Enough said. My co-workers call me VADERwal so apparently The Force is already strong with me.

What is the usual reason a classroom teacher/media specialist needs to email or call you?

Their classroom equipment isn’t working; wifi & network issues of theirs or their students, “can I send my student(s) to use the LRC?”; “is such-and-such cart available?”, and occasional help with iPads.

What do you like doing when you’re not working?

Reading, watching TV, movies, hanging out with family, playing number/logic games. My family loves to quote movies, which is too many – we watch so many.

What is your favorite type of music?

Just about anything: R&B, jazz, funk (am I dating myself?), rock, electric… Anything with a beat I can dance to.

What app or program could you not do without?

Google Maps – I always get lost!! But seriously, I’m finally tuned into the Google apps since the district switched. Although I still like Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel – you can track just about anything with it!

If you could be any superhero, who would you be?

Wyldstyle from the Legos Movie, so I can say “Everything Is Awesome!!” all the time.

What is the usual reason a classroom teacher/media specialist needs to email or call you?

A classroom teacher would usually call me because of a Chromebook problem one of their students have. Also, to ask “Are the computer’s down?” When a student comes down to see me, they have a Chromebook problem or question.

What do you like doing when you’re not working?

I love to spend time with husband and 2 daughters. I also love to read. Watch TV. I love DVR!

The Google Platform (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail…)

If you could be any superhero, who would you be?

Sway, from X-Men….I would love to have Control of Time and to look into the past to see what really happens to the Chromebooks.
